About The Position

The Customer Sales Associate serves as a trusted advisor to customers visiting Trane Supply stores. The role supports customers with parts and equipment needs, identifies suitable products and solutions, works to achieve sales goals, and takes ownership of order management to help ensure accurate, timely fulfillment and customer satisfaction. The associate stays knowledgeable about Trane products, offerings, and promotions and assists with warehouse and inventory tasks as needed. The position is on-site five days per week and may require overtime or weekend work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Inside sales, retail, or related experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, with an emphasis on customer service, continuous improvement, and safety.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and maintain professional customer service in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Support customers and determine effective ways to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Build sales by identifying related products and add-on extensions for customers.
• Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions, and complaints about Parts and Supply offerings, providing solutions that support customer satisfaction and future sales.
• Maintain current knowledge of Trane products, offerings, and promotions to provide a strong customer experience and drive sales.
• Interact with customers by phone and in person.
• Execute quote and order management processes accurately, including entering quotes and invoices and following through on fulfillment to support timely delivery.
• Assist with warehouse and inventory management work as needed.
• Work overtime or weekends as required.
