About The Position

The Customer Sales Associate serves as a trusted advisor to customers visiting Trane Supply stores. The role helps customers resolve parts and equipment issues, provides timely parts and solutions, and supports customer satisfaction and sales. The associate maintains knowledge of Trane products, offerings, and promotions; manages customer quotes and orders accurately; and assists with warehouse and inventory work as needed. The position is on-site five days per week and may require overtime or weekend work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Inside sales, retail, or related experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment emphasizing customer service, continuous improvement, and safety.
• Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and maintain professional customer service in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Support customers and identify effective ways to resolve problems and ensure satisfaction.
• Build sales by identifying related products and add-on extensions that meet customer needs.
• Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions, or complaints about Parts and Supply offerings; provide solutions that support customer satisfaction and future sales.
• Maintain current knowledge of Trane products, offerings, and promotions to provide a strong customer experience and drive sales.
• Interact with customers by phone and in person.
• Execute quote and order management accurately, including entering quotes and invoices and following through on fulfillment to support timely delivery.
• Assist with warehouse and inventory management as needed.
• Work overtime or weekends when required.
