About The Position

As an Avis First Customer Experience Specialist, you will deliver premium, personalized service to customers throughout vehicle delivery and collection. You will coordinate logistics, communicate clearly, and ensure a welcoming, professional experience from doorstep deliveries to airport arrivals. The position requires regular on-site presence in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and cannot be performed remotely. It involves working outdoors in all weather conditions and driving a variety of automobiles.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role; hospitality or car rental experience is preferred.
• Professional, friendly demeanor and focus on customer satisfaction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Technological proficiency and comfort using various mobile devices.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Regular on-site presence; the role cannot be performed remotely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and continuously sit, stand, walk, enter and exit vehicles, drive a variety of automobiles, talk, hear/listen, and type.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional, and personalized customer experience.
• Deliver vehicles directly to customers.
• Coordinate timely vehicle delivery and collection with team members and management.
• Communicate with customers by phone, text, email, and app to confirm logistics, special requests, and meeting locations.
• Greet customers, open vehicle doors, assist with luggage, and provide an overview of the rental vehicle.
