Customer Experience Specialist - FT
About The Position
As an Avis First Customer Experience Specialist, you deliver premium, personalized service to customers throughout the vehicle rental process, from delivery through collection. You act as a front-line representative, ensuring smooth logistics, clear communication, and a welcoming, professional experience. The role includes delivering vehicles directly to customers, coordinating delivery and collection with team members and management, proactively confirming logistics and special requests through phone, text, email, and app, and assisting customers upon arrival. The position requires regular on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role; hospitality or car rental experience is preferred.
- Professional, friendly demeanor and focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Technologically proficient and comfortable using various mobile devices.
- Valid driver's license.
- At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Regular on-site presence; the position cannot be performed remotely.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and continuously sit, stand, walk, enter and exit vehicles, drive a variety of automobiles, talk, hear/listen, and type.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a welcoming, professional, personalized customer experience.

- Coordinate timely vehicle delivery and collection with team members and management.
- Contact customers by phone, text, email, and app to confirm logistics, special requests, and meeting locations.
- Greet customers upon arrival, open vehicle doors, assist with luggage, and provide an overview of the rental vehicle.
