About The Position

As an Avis First Customer Experience Specialist, you will deliver premium, personalized service to Avis First customers, providing a seamless experience from vehicle delivery through collection. The role involves coordinating logistics, communicating clearly, and ensuring that each customer interaction is warm, professional, and attentive to detail. The position is on-site in East Boston, Massachusetts, and involves delivering and collecting vehicles, including working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role; hospitality or car rental experience is preferred.
• Professional, friendly demeanor and focus on customer satisfaction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Technologically proficient and comfortable using various mobile devices.
• Valid driver's license.
• At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Regular on-site presence; the position cannot be performed remotely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to continuously sit, stand, walk, enter and exit vehicles, drive various automobiles, talk, hear/listen, and type.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional, personalized customer experience.
• Deliver vehicles directly to customers.
• Coordinate timely vehicle deliveries and collections with team members and management.
• Contact premium-level customers by phone, text, email, and app to confirm logistics, special requests, and meeting locations.
• Greet customers, open vehicle doors, assist with luggage, and provide an overview of the rental vehicle.
