About The Position

As an Avis First Customer Experience Specialist, you deliver premium, personalized service to customers throughout the vehicle rental process, from delivery to collection. You coordinate logistics, communicate with customers about arrangements and special requests, and ensure each interaction is professional, welcoming, and attentive. The role requires a regular on-site presence in Philadelphia and may involve working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer service experience; hospitality or car rental experience is preferred.
• Professional, friendly demeanor and focus on customer satisfaction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort and proficiency using mobile devices and other technology.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Regular on-site presence; the position cannot be performed remotely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and continuously sit, stand, walk, enter and exit vehicles, drive a variety of automobiles, talk, hear/listen, and type.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional, and personalized customer experience.
• Deliver rental vehicles directly to customers.
• Coordinate timely vehicle delivery and collection with team members and management.
• Contact premium-level customers by phone, text, email, and app to confirm logistics, special requests, and meeting locations.
• Greet customers, open vehicle doors, assist with luggage, and provide an overview of the rental vehicle.
