Customer Experience Representative- SLC Airport, UT
About The Position
National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car are seeking a Customer Experience Representative (CXR) to provide superior, friendly, and efficient customer transactions and offer company-approved services and products. The role facilitates the rental process by verifying and documenting necessary driver information to support efficient rental and return experiences. This position is onsite at the SLC Airport, 3920 Terminal Dr, Salt Lake City, UT 84122, and is scheduled for 40 hours per week. Available schedules are Thursday–Monday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM, or Thursday–Monday, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM. Compensation is $19.00–$21.00.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have worked six months or more at the most recent employer.
- Must be able to work the posted schedule.
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future work-authorization sponsorship from the company.
Responsibilities
- Meet and greet customers in a professional, friendly, and timely manner.
- Provide efficient customer service by explaining rental terms and conditions, vehicle features, and other services; offer optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options, and additional equipment.
- Offer customer assistance such as directions, maps, local-area information, and appropriate service information.
- Answer incoming calls about reservations, rate quotes, and general questions, and provide information and resolution for customers, other branches, and vendors.
- Place outgoing calls for callback management and other assigned purposes.
- Assist in assessing the condition of rental vehicles upon return.
- Notify management of known customer problems.
- Notify management of known vehicle problems and required vehicle maintenance.
- Build knowledge and skills and pursue on-the-job training, development opportunities, and company-sponsored classroom training.
