About The Position

National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car are hiring a Customer Experience Representative to provide superior, friendly, and efficient customer transactions and offer company-approved services and products. The role facilitates rentals and returns by verifying and documenting driver information, helping ensure an efficient and timely process. The position is onsite at the SLC Airport at 3920 Terminal Dr, Salt Lake City, UT 84122, and is scheduled for 40 hours per week. Available schedules are Thursday–Monday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM, or Thursday–Monday, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM. Compensation is $19.00–$21.00.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have worked six months or more at the most recent employer.
• Must be able to work the posted schedule.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers in a professional, friendly, and timely manner.
• Provide efficient customer service by explaining rental terms and conditions, vehicle features, and services, and offering optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options, and additional equipment.
• Offer customer assistance such as directions, maps, local area information, and appropriate service information.
• Answer incoming calls about reservations, rate quotes, and general questions; provide information and resolution for customers, other branches, and vendors.
• Place outgoing calls for callback management and other assigned purposes.
• Help assess the condition of rental vehicles upon return.
• Notify management of known customer problems.
• Notify management of known vehicle problems and required vehicle maintenance.
• Build knowledge and skills and pursue on-the-job training, development opportunities, and company-sponsored classroom training.
