About The Position

Customer Experience Champions are the customer-facing team at Harper Auto Wash, responsible for creating positive customer experiences while helping clean vehicles. The role calls for friendly, enthusiastic, authentic customer service in a fast-paced car wash environment. Team members may work in sales at the pay stations, guide and prepare vehicles in the wash tunnel, or clean vehicle interiors; most team members work across all three areas. This is a full-time position at the Chapman Highway location, paying $14 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

• Genuine passion for customer service, with a cheerful, enthusiastic, and authentic approach.
• Provide professional, friendly customer service and communicate clearly with customers.
• Ability to perform vehicle preparation and guidance tasks while following safety procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and meet cleaning time frames.
• Ability to lift at least 20 pounds as needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, including heat and cold.
• Valid driver's license.
• Pass drug screening as required by company policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, enthusiastic customer service and warmly greet customers.
• Explain procedures, answer customer questions, and explain the value of unlimited passes at pay stations.
• Communicate clearly, including through eye contact and hand gestures when guiding customers.
• Visually inspect and prepare vehicles, observe safety precautions, and check truck beds and roof racks for loose items or safety concerns.
• Guide vehicles safely into the wash tunnel and ensure proper placement on the conveyor belt.
• Confirm customers place vehicles in Neutral before entering the wash.
• Briefly spray vehicles with high pressure before they enter the wash.
• Work as part of a team to clean vehicle interiors, including windows, dashboards, and floors, and apply tire shine.
• Complete cleaning efficiently within established time frames.
• Assist with routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and the work environment.
• Follow company procedures and policies to provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
