Customer Experience Champion [Chapman Hwy, PT]
About The Position
Customer Experience Champions are the face of Harper Auto Wash and help create great customer experiences. The role calls for a genuine passion for customer service, cheerfulness, and authenticity in a modern, high-energy car wash facility. Champions may work in sales by explaining unlimited passes at pay stations, in the wash tunnel by guiding and preparing vehicles, or in interior cleaning by working with a team to clean vehicles. Most Champions work across all three roles. This full-time position is located at the Chapman Highway Harper Auto Wash and pays $14 per hour plus tips. Requirements
- Genuine passion for customer service, cheerfulness, and authenticity.
- Friendly and professional communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Pass a drug screening as required by company policy.
- Ability to lift at least 20 pounds as needed.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, including heat and cold.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, enthusiastic customer service and warmly greet every customer.
- Communicate clearly, using eye contact and exaggerated hand gestures when guiding customers.
- Explain procedures and answer customer questions professionally.
- Visually inspect and prepare vehicles while following safety precautions.
- Safely guide vehicles into the wash tunnel and ensure correct placement on the conveyor belt.
- Confirm customers place their vehicle in Neutral before entering the wash.
- Inspect truck beds and roof racks for loose items or safety concerns.
- Conduct a brief high-pressure spray before vehicles enter the wash.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to clean vehicle interiors.
- Clean interior windows, wipe dashboards, vacuum, and apply tire shine according to standard procedures.
- Manage time to clean vehicles efficiently within set timeframes.
- Assist with regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment and the work environment.
- Follow company procedures and policies to provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
- Explain the value of unlimited passes to customers at pay stations.
- Work in the wash tunnel guiding and preparing vehicles.
