Carvana•Flint, MI
•$18 - $19

About The Position

Carvana is hiring Customer Advocates to deliver vehicles to customers and help improve the car-buying process. The role involves driving custom car haulers (a commercial license is not required; training is provided), loading and unloading vehicles, inspecting the hauler, completing customer paperwork, and documenting customer interactions in a tracking system. Team members must drive safely and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with Carvana's CMV Driver Qualification policy. Candidates must have or obtain a notary in their local jurisdiction within the first 90 days of employment, with the process sponsored by Carvana, and must satisfy state-specific requirements for accessing DMV, title, and registration systems. Certain states require additional licenses within specified periods: Illinois, Michigan, Louisiana, and Missouri require a Chauffeur's or other specialty license within the first two weeks; California requires a Vehicle Verifier license within 90 days; and Nevada, Tennessee, and Virginia require applying for a Salesperson license within the first two weeks. In the latter states, obtaining the license is a condition of employment and failure to secure it may affect continued employment. The position requires physically demanding work, including detailing and loading or unloading vehicles in indoor and outdoor conditions, sometimes in extreme or inclement weather. Employees may be on their feet and active for more than eight hours and must be able to perform a range of movements and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds. All applicants must pass a drug test, obtain a DOT Medical Card, be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The scheduled hours are 7 a.m.–5 p.m., 9 a.m.–7 p.m., or 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Team members must be available to work seven days a week, with days off rotating between weekdays and weekend days. The posted pay range is $18–$19 per hour, with performance-based increases and potential additional location-specific incentives. Overtime may be available during busy seasons.
