About The Position

Enterprise Mobility’s Enterprise brand is hiring a full-time Customer Assistance Representative Sr (CAR Sr) at its West Spartanburg branch, located at 249 E Blackstock Road, Spartanburg, South Carolina. The role provides face-to-face and phone-based assistance to internal and external customers. Through local training and hands-on experience, the representative provides rental support, serves customers, and performs administrative duties in a home-city branch or airport location.

The position pays $18 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Wednesday and Sunday off; and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on rotating weekends.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of prior customer service, retail, or administrative support experience required.
• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past 3 years.
• No drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past 5 years.

Nice To Haves

• Some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls about reservations, rate quotes, general questions, and customer concerns; provide information and resolution to customers, branches, insurance companies, dealerships, repair shops, and vendors.
• Make outgoing calls for callback management, accounts receivable, and other assigned matters.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone, assess their rental needs, and provide a high level of customer service.
• Greet customers in a friendly and timely manner and provide directions and general assistance.
• Help assess rental vehicle condition upon return.
• Process returns, check-ins, and exit kiosk transactions.
• Market the company while safely and courteously picking up or dropping off customers, and assist customers as needed.
• Explain rental terms and conditions, vehicle features, and other services.
• Sell optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options, and additional equipment when applicable.
• Notify management of known vehicle problems and required maintenance.
• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors by hand or using washing equipment when needed.
• Perform administrative and basic accounting tasks, including research and billing support, accounts receivable, transfer and key logs, miscellaneous reports, supply maintenance, and customer billing.
• Perform other miscellaneous and backup job-related duties as assigned.
