About The Position

Canteen is hiring a full-time Customer Ambassador in Bloomingdale, Illinois. The position drives a hospitality environment by greeting guests, offering samples, touching tables, and leading guest-facing marketing and wellness programs. The schedule is full time, with days that may vary and hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; further details will be provided during the interview. The pay range is $21.00 to $23.00 per hour. Previous customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer and interact in a way that ensures a high level of hospitality.
• Greet team members and ensure they have what they need to be successful each day.
• Relay relevant customer concerns to supervisors.
• Ensure marketing, wellness, and culinary programs are current and in place.
• Lead weekly guest promotions and programs.
• Share best practices and recognize co-workers.
• Understand daily menu items and explain them accurately to customers.
• Use selling techniques and good communication to assist customers with buying and decision-making.
• Ensure display foods are attractively merchandised and serve food neatly and attractively according to standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
