About The Position
The Customer Ambassador drives a hospitable guest environment by greeting customers, offering samples, touching tables, and leading guest-facing marketing and wellness programs. The position supports customers and team members, communicates customer concerns to supervisors, and ensures marketing, wellness, and culinary programs are current. The ambassador leads weekly promotions, understands and explains daily menu items, assists customers with purchasing decisions, and ensures food displays and service meet presentation standards. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Food service experience required.
- Customer service experience required.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Greet every customer and interact in a manner that ensures a high level of hospitality.
- Greet team members and ensure they have what they need to be successful each day.
- Relay relevant customer concerns to supervisors.
- Ensure marketing, wellness, and culinary programs are current and in place.
- Lead weekly promotions and programs for guests.
- Share best practices and recognize co-workers.
- Understand daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers.
- Use selling techniques, communicate with customers, and assist them in the buying and decision-making process.
- Merchandise display foods attractively and serve food neatly and attractively according to standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
