CUSTOMER AMBASSADOR (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Canteen is hiring a full-time Customer Ambassador at Raymond James in Saint Petersburg, Florida. The role drives a hospitality-focused environment by greeting guests, offering samples, engaging with customers, and leading guest-facing marketing and wellness programs. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; further details are provided during the interview. The fixed pay rate is $19.25 per hour. The Customer Ambassador welcomes customers and team members, helps ensure team members have what they need, relays customer concerns to supervisors, and keeps marketing, wellness, and culinary programs current. The role also leads weekly guest promotions, explains menu items, supports customers' purchasing decisions, and ensures food displays and service meet presentation standards. Previous customer service experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities
- Greet every customer and interact in a way that ensures a high level of hospitality.
- Greet team members and ensure they have what they need to be successful each day.
- Relay relevant customer concerns to supervisors.
- Ensure marketing, wellness, and culinary programs are current and in place.
- Lead weekly promotions and programs for guests.
- Share best practices and recognize co-workers.
- Understand daily menu items and explain them accurately to customers.
- Use selling techniques, communicate effectively, and assist customers with buying and decision-making.
- Ensure display foods are attractively merchandised and food is served neatly and attractively according to standards.
