About The Position

The Custom Framer builds customer relationships and creates memorable custom framing solutions for customers’ art. The role also helps customers shop and locate products while maintaining a safe, clean, and clutter-free store environment. The position involves completing framing orders to a high standard and on time, delivering sales and production results, and supporting store operations and customer service. Work takes place in a public retail store; the frame shop includes a glass cutter and heat press. Hours may include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and a glass cutter.
• Ability to perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching; move throughout the store; and stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and frames and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and company programs, policies, and standards, including applicable legal requirements.
• Build customer relationships and create custom framing solutions using Elevated ABC Deliver; achieve sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas, including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Provide friendly customer service, help customers shop and locate products, and provide solutions.
• Maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store and a safe, clean, clutter-free environment.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remain positive in difficult situations, and promote the organization’s vision and values.
• Participate in truck unloading and stocking, following truck standards and completing work within budget.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash according to standards.
• Assist with omnichannel processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
