About The Position

GRBS is hiring a full-time custodian for Haslett Public Schools. The Building Lead works Monday through Friday, plus one weekend per month, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for 40 hours per week. The role involves cleaning school facilities, performing perimeter security checks, and checking work areas for quality. Pay is $16.50 per hour.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have valid ID, reliable transportation, and leadership experience. Candidates with theft-, violence-, or drug-related backgrounds do not qualify for employment under Michigan public school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Come to work consistently.

• Complete work according to the building map and shift requirements.
• Vacuum, mop, and dust.
• Clean restrooms and remove trash.
• Perform perimeter security checks.
• Walk areas for quality control.
• Complete other cleaning tasks as assigned.
