About The Position

GRBS is hiring a full-time Custodian Supervisor at Byron Center Public Schools. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, with one scheduled weekend per month, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., for 40 hours per week. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour.

The supervisor leads and supports custodial team members while carrying out cleaning duties at a public school. Work includes vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms, removing trash, and other assigned cleaning tasks. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have valid identification.
• Positive attitude, team-player approach, customer-service focus, dependability, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work each day.
• Individuals with theft-, violence-, or drug-related backgrounds do not qualify for employment due to Michigan public schools requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute the clean building process.
• Use GRBS tools to finish the job.
• Complete 360 communication.
• Lead, manage, serve, and hold team members accountable.
• Lead with integrity and humility.
• Complete building walkdowns.
• Perform nightly perimeter door checks.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, clean restrooms, and remove trash.
• Complete other cleaning tasks as assigned.
