About The Position
Seneca Foods Corporation of Montgomery, MN, a food production and distribution center located approximately 35 miles southwest of the Twin Cities metro, currently has an opening for full-time Warehouse Custodian/Sweeper Operator for the 1st shift.
Requirements
- Must have good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Be a self-starter with good prioritizing and time management skills.
- Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment
- Good communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous clerical and janitorial experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Sanitation of floors, restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and assigned warehouse/production areas
- Empties trash receptacles, and recycling bins
- Operates vacuum, automatic floor-scrubber, and hand equipment
- Maintains up-to-date sanitation records
- Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies, paper products, etc.
- Performs general housekeeping duties
- Observes all company safety rules and regulations
- Continuous cleaning around machines and conveyors
- Scrubbing of framework and non-food surfaces
- Other duties as assigned.
