About The Position

The ParkX Street Sweeper Operator maintains the cleanliness and appearance of streets and public roadways within assigned areas. The role safely operates a street sweeper truck along designated routes to remove trash, debris, leaves, and other waste, contributing to community appearance and safety. It requires responsibility, attention to detail, safe vehicle operation, and a professional, courteous attitude.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with no major driving violations.
• Availability to work outside regular business hours and on weekends during events.

Responsibilities

• Operate the street sweeper vehicle to remove trash, debris, leaves, and other materials from assigned routes.
• Follow safe operating practices, applicable traffic laws, and site protocols.
• Inspect the assigned vehicle and equipment before and after each shift.
• Complete daily cleaning and maintenance tasks in exterior areas as directed by the Senior Operations Manager, Janitorial.
• Report to the assigned location before the shift wearing the approved ParkX uniform.
• Follow safety protocols and use cleaning tools and equipment properly.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude toward property staff, residents, clients, and visitors.
• Support management teams with special cleaning or maintenance projects as requested.
• Keep machinery and supply storage areas organized and free of hazards.
• Complete required documentation at the end of each shift and hand off responsibilities to the next shift.
• Monitor inventory and notify management when cleaning materials or supplies are needed.
• Report maintenance issues or unsafe conditions in exterior areas to management.
• Adhere to assigned cleaning schedules and checklists.
• Participate in team meetings and stay informed about operational updates related to site cleaning and maintenance.
• Cover for coworkers during absences and assist in different exterior areas as needed.
• Work weekends and outside regular business hours, particularly during events or peak-demand periods.
• Represent ParkX values and comply with company attendance, uniform, and conduct policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
