About The Position

The Curbside Personal Shopper, also described as a Digital Clerk, fulfills customers’ online curbside orders and helps create an accurate, convenient pickup experience. The role involves shopping for and verifying products throughout the store, preparing and staging orders, collecting payment, and providing friendly service during pickup. The position requires following store procedures and food safety guidelines, maintaining an orderly curbside area, and supporting other tasks as needed. Hiring immediately at no less than $14.50 per hour. Starting rate depends on experience and the Union Pay Scale. Scheduling days are flexible, but availability is required on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and through 9:00 p.m.; open availability is preferred.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
At least 1 year of experience.
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
Process-driven, with the ability to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
Availability required on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and until 9:00 p.m.; open availability is preferred.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail experience preferred.
Past cashier experience preferred.
Past online ordering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide remarkable service in the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
Greet customers courteously in person and by phone and respond to their questions and needs.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, store team members, and leadership.
Resolve customer concerns promptly by partnering with leadership when needed.
Use the daily workflow dashboard to receive and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
Select items throughout the store, scan and verify products, and bag items according to bagging standards.
Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
