About The Position

Eventide Sheyenne Crossings Senior Living Apartments in West Fargo, North Dakota, is seeking a part-time Culinary Assistant / Server for a 4:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m. shift. The role provides meal service to residents and tenants under sanitary conditions and in a respectful, timely manner. It involves communicating, coordinating, and cooperating with others to support the operations of the Nutrition and Culinary Services department. The schedule includes an every-other-weekend and holiday rotation. The position offers a starting pay range of $16–$17.92 per hour for Culinary Assistants, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions and depend on employment status and shift worked. Requirements

Previous food-service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Offer and serve menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
Follow portion-control standards.
Clean and sanitize dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and containers used to provide meals, and complete other assigned cleaning duties.
Operate equipment properly, safely, and sanitarily.
Prepare menu items as assigned by the Nutrition and Culinary Director (Coordinator) and/or Culinary Cook.
Monitor daily menu items to verify that necessary items are prepared and labeled.
Store leftovers according to food-handling standards.
Organize and plan work to meet meal service times.
Operate the dish machine according to directions, including pre-soaking and sorting dishes and utensils.
Assist with accepting vendor deliveries and storing items in the proper areas.
