About The Position

Eventide Sheyenne Crossings Senior Living Apartments in West Fargo, North Dakota, is seeking a part-time Culinary Assistant / Server for a 4:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m. shift. The role provides meal service to residents and tenants under sanitary conditions and in a respectful, timely manner, coordinating and cooperating with others to support the Nutrition and Culinary Services department. The schedule includes every-other-weekend and holiday rotation.

Requirements

• Previous food-service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Offer and serve menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
• Follow portion-control size standards.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and containers used to provide meals, along with other assigned cleaning duties.
• Operate equipment properly, safely, and under sanitary conditions.
• Prepare menu items as assigned by the Nutrition and Culinary Director/Coordinator and/or Culinary Cook.
• Monitor daily menu items to verify that necessary items are prepared and labeled.
• Store leftovers appropriately according to food-handling standards.
• Organize and plan work to meet meal service times.
• Operate the dish machine according to directions.
• Pre-soak and sort dishes and utensils.
• Assist with accepting vendor deliveries and storing items in the proper areas.
