About The Position

Eventide Sheyenne Crossings Senior Living Apartments in West Fargo, North Dakota, is hiring a part-time Culinary Assistant / Server for a 5:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m. shift. The role provides meal service to residents and tenants under sanitary conditions and in a respectful, timely manner. The Culinary Assistant / Server communicates, coordinates, and cooperates with others to support the operations of the Nutrition and Culinary Services department. The schedule includes an every-other-weekend and holiday rotation. The position offers a starting pay range of $16–$17.92 per hour for Culinary Assistants, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions, based on employment status and shift worked. Requirements

Previous food-service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Offer and serve menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
Follow portion-control standards.
Clean and sanitize dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and containers used to provide meals, and complete other assigned cleaning duties.
Operate equipment in a proper, safe, sanitary, and respectful manner.
Prepare menu items as assigned by the Nutrition and Culinary Director (Coordinator) and/or Culinary Cook.
Monitor daily menu items to verify that necessary items are prepared and labeled.
Store leftovers according to food-handling standards.
Organize and plan work to meet meal service times.
Operate the dish machine according to directions.
Pre-soak and sort dishes and utensils.
Assist with accepting vendor deliveries and storing items in the proper areas.
