About The Position

Silverado Red Rock is hiring a full-time Culinary Aide for the PM shift. The role supports a warm, nourishing, and welcoming dining experience for residents at a memory care community. Culinary Aides assist with food preparation and kitchen sanitation, deliver resident meal carts, stock refrigerators, and maintain pleasant dining areas. The position involves active work, including walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, and working with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Employees must be comfortable around animals and pets and have reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards. The schedule is Thursday and Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The anticipated pay is $18 per hour. Employment offers are contingent on background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable. Silverado uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization.

Requirements

Food Handlers Certificate from the County Department of Environmental Health.
Knowledge of food safety regulations.
Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Ability to perform active work involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
Comfort working around animals and pets.
Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
