About The Position

Silverado Red Rock is hiring a full-time Culinary Aide to help provide residents with a warm, nourishing, and welcoming dining experience. The role combines food service tasks, attention to detail, and hospitality in a memory care setting serving individuals with neurodegenerative conditions, including Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. The position is an active role involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The schedule is Thursday and Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The anticipated pay range is $16.00–$16.50 USD per hour.

Requirements

• Food Handlers Certificate from the County Department of Environmental Health.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Comfort working around animals and pets.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and kitchen sanitation.
• Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of food service areas.
• Deliver resident meal carts and stock refrigerators.
• Set and clean dining areas to support a pleasant mealtime experience.
