As a Critical Response Dispatcher, a caregiver in this role will support emergency response teams by managing emergency and non-emergency dispatch and communications. The caregiver will triage requests, gather critical patient and incident information and use computer-aided dispatch systems and established protocols to coordinate and deploy the appropriate medical response resources. This position plays an important role in ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of medical response teams at Main Campus, including the Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT), helping ensure the right resources are available when they are needed most. A caregiver in this position will work rotating 12-hour shifts from 6:30am to 6:30pm and 6:30pm to 6:30am. The rotation will be flexible based on staffing needs, with an anticipated rotation of approximately every four weeks. Caregivers interested in working a consistent night shift may also be considered. Weekend and holiday coverage will be required as part of the schedule.
