About The Position

The Dispatcher is responsible for dispatching and tracking scheduled delivery activities to support the timely movement and flow of materials. The role schedules inbound and outbound goods and services in coordination with shipping, receiving, security, and other departments. The position is not responsible for supervising employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required; 0+ years of experience accepted.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate basic messages orally, write brief messages, and keep simple records.
• Ability to follow standard procedures and supervisor or manager guidance and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch trucks and orders for processing.
• Ensure parts and services are delivered in a timely manner.
• Set routes with drivers.
• Prepare paperwork for incoming vendors.
• Communicate with sales, warehouse, and delivery staff about delivery and routing issues.
• Handle UPS orders and customer pickups as needed.
• Ensure vendors’ parts are processed according to company policy.
• Ensure vendor returns are completed according to company policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
