About The Position

Valor Environmental is seeking a full-time Crew Leader for construction and landscaping work in San Antonio, Texas. The Crew Leader oversees daily crew work, coordinates job-site activities and materials, ensures quality and safety, interacts with clients, and operates equipment and vehicles. The listed salary range is $18–$20 per hour; the posting also gives a salary description of $18–$21 per hour.

Requirements

Previous construction or landscaping leadership experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.
Ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned tasks.
Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds throughout the workday; reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead daily crew work, including travel to job sites, materials management, quality control, inspection-report sign-off, field communication, care of tools and materials, overtime management, and communicating safety measures.
Interact with clients on site to ensure the work is completed as expected.
Reinforce company culture with the crew, including attire, communication, work ethic, safety, and attitude.
Keep job materials in good condition and ensure they are maintained and used without waste.
Safely operate heavy equipment, including a trencher, skid steer, bobcat, backhoe, and sweeper, as well as a truck and trailer, while following applicable laws and regulations.
Use phones, computers, and other electronic tools effectively and stay organized.
Complete and submit required paperwork accurately and on time.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
