About The Position

Valor Environmental is hiring a full-time Crew Leader for construction and landscaping work in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role leads daily crew activities, ensures quality and safety, communicates with clients and crew members, and operates equipment and vehicles. The listed salary range is $19–$22 per hour.

Requirements

Previous leadership experience in construction or landscaping.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.
Ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned tasks.
Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds during the workday.

Responsibilities

Lead the crew’s daily work, including travel to job sites, materials management, quality control, inspection report sign-offs, field communication, care of tools and materials, overtime management, and communicating safety measures.
Interact with clients on site to ensure the work is completed as expected.
Reinforce company culture among crew members, including expectations for attire, communication, work ethic, safety, and attitude.
Keep job materials in good condition and ensure they are maintained and used without waste.
Safely operate heavy equipment and trucks with trailers, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Use phones, computers, and other electronic tools as needed.
Complete required paperwork and submissions accurately and on time.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
