About The Position

Valor Environmental is a full-service environmental services company providing erosion control, land services, street sweeping, and site maintenance nationwide. The Crew Leader leads construction or landscaping crew work, oversees daily job-site activities, interacts with clients, and supports safe, high-quality work. The position is full-time and pays $19–$22 per hour. Work is outdoors in all types of weather and may involve weekends and extended hours as needed.

Requirements

Previous construction or landscaping leadership experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.
Ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned tasks.
Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds throughout the assigned workday.

Responsibilities

Lead the crew’s daily work, including travel to the site, material management, work quality, inspection report sign-off, field communication, care of materials and tools, overtime management, and communicating safety measures.
Interact with clients on site to ensure the work is completed as expected.
Reinforce company culture with the crew, including expectations for attire, communication, work ethic, safety, and attitude.
Ensure job materials are maintained, properly utilized, and not wasted.
Safely operate heavy equipment and trucks or trailers, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Use phones, computers, and other electronic tools as needed.
Complete required paperwork and submissions accurately and on time.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
