About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a geriatrician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. This mobile practice offers full-time and part-time schedules, with no night, on-call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Full-time physicians generally work 4–5 weekdays per week; part-time physicians work at least 3 weekdays per week. The posting describes a Monday–Friday schedule, with full-time hours listed as 7 a.m.–4 p.m. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week; the stated salary range is $200,000–$350,000 per year. No work visa sponsorship is available.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where you wish to practice.
Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
