About The Position

VanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation are seeking an experienced Inside Sales / Support specialist for their San Antonio, Texas office. The role supports sales efforts in the fast-paced oil and gas market and requires someone able to learn a growing customer base and product portfolio quickly. The position involves preparing quotations, following up on sales leads, developing opportunities with existing accounts, identifying prospective customers and markets, and ensuring customer satisfaction. It also supports sales procurement, vendor pricing negotiations, purchasing, marketing efforts, and activity recordkeeping in Enterprise and Contact Relationship Management software. Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience with Enterprise and Contact Relationship Management software.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized and disciplined.
Desire to learn and build personal skill set.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of experience in inbound support, sales, or purchasing (preferred).
Experience in the oil and gas or electrical/automation industries.
Technical background.

Responsibilities

Complete quotations.
Follow up on sales leads.
Find and develop new opportunities within existing accounts.
Identify and pursue potential customers and markets.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain activity records using Enterprise and Contact Relationship Management software.
Assist in marketing efforts.
Purchase equipment and supplies and negotiate pricing with vendors.
Support the sales team in procuring equipment and supplies.
