Hospitalist - San Antonio, TX
About The Position
Vohra is hiring a Hospitalist to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, generally visiting two to three facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers full-time and part-time schedules, with weekday work and no night, on-call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Full-time physicians generally work four to five days per week; part-time physicians must commit to at least three weekdays per week. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The role is W-2 employment, and work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, and unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where you wish to practice.
- Commit to a minimum of three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
