Geriatrician - San Antonio, TX
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring a geriatrician to provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The mobile practice offers full-time and part-time schedules, with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Full-time schedules are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and generally involve 4–5 days per week. Part-time work is available for a minimum of 3 days per week. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year, with a stated salary range of $200,000–$350,000 per year.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
- Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
