About The Position

Valor Environmental is hiring a full-time Crew Leader for construction and landscaping work in Greenville, South Carolina. The role leads daily crew activities, coordinates materials and job-site work, communicates with clients, and helps ensure quality and safety. The Crew Leader operates heavy equipment and trucks or trailers, maintains tools and materials, and completes required paperwork and electronic submissions. The position pays $19–$21 per hour and includes year-round work.

Requirements

Previous construction or landscaping leadership experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.
Ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned tasks.
Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds throughout the workday; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

Lead the crew’s daily work, including travel to job sites, material management, work quality, inspection report sign-off, field communication, care of tools and materials, overtime management, and communicating safety measures.
Interact with clients on site to ensure work is completed as expected.
Reinforce company culture among the crew, including expectations for attire, communication, work ethic, safety, and attitude.
Keep job materials in good condition and ensure they are maintained and used without waste.
Safely operate heavy equipment, including trenchers, skid steers, Bobcats, backhoes, and sweepers, as well as trucks and trailers; comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Use phones, computers, and other electronic tools as needed.
Complete required paperwork and submissions accurately and on time.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
