About The Position

Valor Environmental is hiring a full-time Crew Leader for construction and landscaping work in Augusta, Georgia. The role leads daily crew activities, coordinates work at job sites, interacts with clients, maintains materials and tools, and ensures safe and quality work. The Crew Leader also operates heavy equipment and vehicles, uses electronic devices and computers, and completes required paperwork accurately and on time. The salary range is $20–$23 per hour.

Requirements

Previous construction or landscaping leadership experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.
Ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned tasks.
Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds throughout the workday; reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

Lead daily crew activities, including travel to the site, materials management, quality control, inspection report sign-off, field communication, care of materials and tools, overtime management, and communicating safety measures.
Interact with clients on site to ensure the work is completed as expected.
Reinforce company culture with the crew, including expectations for attire, communication, work ethic, safety, and attitude.
Ensure job materials are properly maintained and used without waste.
Safely operate heavy equipment, including a trencher, skid steer, Bobcat, backhoe, and sweeper, as well as trucks and trailers; comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Use phones, computers, and other electronic tools as needed.
Complete required paperwork and submissions accurately and on time.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
