About the position
ClassDojo is seeking an incredible creative leader to develop their brand voice and build a talent-dense copywriting team. This leader will be responsible for iteratively developing the brand's voice, tone, and copywriting style across all touchpoints, both in-product and outside of it. They will also lead copywriting work on important projects while supporting and challenging their team. The goal is to build the world's leading brand centered around kids, families, and education, comparable to Apple, Airbnb, Nike, and Tesla.
Responsibilities
- Iteratively develop the brand voice, tone, and copywriting style across all touchpoints
- Build the world's most talent-dense copywriting team
- Lead the copywriting work across important projects
- Support and challenge the copywriting team
- Help build the world's leading brand focused on kids, families, and education
- Have 15+ years of copywriting experience
- Have 5+ years of team leadership and management experience
- Have deep experience in brand and marketing copywriting
- Comfort writing across various touchpoints
- Be a student of great copywriting work and tactics of framing and influence
- Be relentless in focusing on details
Requirements
- 15+ years of copywriting experience
- 5+ years of team leadership and management experience
- Deep experience in brand and marketing copywriting
- Comfort writing across touch points — from tiny bits of copy that appear within UI to expansive landing pages that live online
- Knowledge of great copywriting work and tactics of framing and influence
