About the position
This role at ClassDojo involves creating and scaling new consumer products for their network of millions of children and families. The focus is on building a global consumer education business and deepening love for the ClassDojo brand. The successful candidate will work closely with the co-founders and cross-functional teams to invent and test long-term ideas, using data, research, and intuition to create products and experiences that children will love. The ideal candidate will have experience in product management, achieving product-market fit, and monetizing consumer products. Strong product strategy, intuition, and a passion for speaking with customers are also important for this role.
Responsibilities
- Create and scale new consumer products for ClassDojo's network of children and families
- Build a global consumer education business
- Grow ClassDojo and deepen love for the brand
- Work closely with co-founders, CTO, Head of Product, Head of Marketing, and cross-functional teams to invent and test long-term ideas
- Work at both a strategic and tactical level to turn data, research, and intuition into products and experiences
- Achieve product-market fit with new consumer products
- Have experience as a founder or equivalent level of accountability
- Monetize consumer products, ideally subscription products or marketplaces
- Have a strong grasp of product strategy
- Have strong product intuition and good taste
- Enjoy speaking with customers and conducting research
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in product management
- Achieved product-market fit with new consumer products
- Experience as a founder or equivalent level of accountability
- Monetized consumer products, ideally subscription products or marketplaces
- Strong grasp of product strategy
- Strong product intuition and good taste
- Enjoy speaking with customers and conducting research
