About The Position

Eckart LLC is seeking a career-oriented Counter Sales Associate to join its Customer Service team, supporting both the plumbing and electrical sides of the business. The role operates in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rewarding environment and is responsible for counter sales and product returns while providing product expertise and customer support. The position involves serving customers in person and by phone, processing orders, sourcing materials, learning current products, and maintaining the counter and sales area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Post-secondary courses in plumbing, electrical, or heating.
• Knowledge of the plumbing, electrical, and heating industry, or a background in plumbing products.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the counter and over the phone.
• Respond to inquiries and process incoming calls and orders.
• Process orders in the system.
• Source materials for customers when items are not currently in stock.
• Participate in ongoing training and develop an understanding of current products.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Handle returns as required.
• Keep the counter and sales area clean.
• Merchandise and showcase products.
• Perform other duties as required.
