About The Position

White Cap is hiring a Counter Sales Associate to serve walk-in, phone, and will-call customers. The role provides customer service and product guidance, processes orders and price quotes, and supports customers with product applications and troubleshooting. White Cap is a North American distributor serving professional contractors and construction projects.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to walk-in, phone, and will-call customers.
• Process orders, quote prices, enter orders into the system, and provide order information to customers.
• Pull orders as required.
• Communicate product features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products and their applications by providing technical advice, troubleshooting, and helping resolve customer problems.
• Upsell by identifying related products and add-on extensions and informing customers about product promotions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
