About The Position

The Sweet Stop at Island View Casino Resort serves house-made ice creams, gelatos, and custards, along with treats from Island View’s Coast Candymakers store. The resort is seeking a cheerful and courteous Counter Attendant to prepare and serve frozen treats, process transactions, maintain an organized workspace, and provide excellent customer service. The Sweet Stop is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in cash handling and/or retail is required.
• Must be able to operate a cash register, computer, and phone.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve ice cream and other frozen treats, including scooping ice cream.
• Take customer orders.
• Handle cash transactions and collect payments.
• Operate the cash register, computer, and phone.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Stock supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service.
