About The Position

Concorde Education seeks independent professionals with cosmetology, beauty, hairstyling, makeup, nail technology, barbering, esthetics, fashion, or related experience for potential instructional assignments in K–12 enrichment programs. Programs are delivered in person at partner schools and community locations, with the specific setting, age group, schedule, duration, curriculum, and scope varying by assignment. Many programs run approximately 8–10 weeks and typically involve 1–4 instructional hours per week, primarily after school. Opportunities are rolling and depend on partner schedules; no assignments or minimum hours are guaranteed.

Instructors may lead age-appropriate enrichment sessions, introduce students to practical skills and career pathways, demonstrate techniques, and facilitate hands-on activities and creative projects. Instructors adapt activities to student ages and experience, available resources, program objectives, and site requirements, while maintaining safe, respectful, inclusive, and age-appropriate practices. A brief session-completion form is required after scheduled instructional sessions.

These are independent contractor opportunities, not employee positions. Contractors may apply for, accept, decline, or disregard assignments based on their availability, interests, and business considerations. Compensation is determined separately for each assignment. Many opportunities start at $50 or more per completed instructional hour with students, with the actual rate depending on assignment scope, qualifications and experience, location, schedule, and program needs. Applicants may propose a rate; Concorde Education may accept it, counteroffer, or select another applicant. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is based on completed instructional service hours and is generally made by direct deposit on the fifteenth day of the month following service completion.

Curriculum resources, lesson suggestions, project ideas, classroom materials, mannequin heads, practice supplies, presentation materials, or other resources may be made available, depending on the assignment. Contractors may adapt instruction within the agreed scope and applicable requirements and may use appropriate personal resources. Expenses for which reimbursement is requested require prior written approval. Selected applicants may be asked to complete onboarding and assignment-specific requirements, which may include background checks, site clearances, fingerprinting, documentation, or identification requirements. Requirements

• Relevant professional or instructional experience in cosmetology, beauty, hairstyling, makeup, nail technology, barbering, esthetics, fashion, or a related area.
• Use safe and age-appropriate practices when demonstrating techniques.
• Some assignments or partner sites may require at least 60 college credits or other assignment-specific qualifications.

Responsibilities
