Concorde Education is seeking independent professionals with cosmetology, beauty, hairstyling, makeup, nail technology, barbering, esthetics, fashion, or related experience for instructional assignments in K–12 enrichment programs. Programs are delivered in person at partner schools and community locations and may serve elementary, middle, or high school students. Assignments vary by partner and may run approximately 8–10 weeks, typically involving 1–4 instructional hours per week, primarily after school. Opportunities and start dates are rolling and depend on partner schedules. Instructors may lead age-appropriate sessions introducing students to cosmetology skills, creative techniques, and beauty-industry career pathways. Depending on the program, activities may include hairstyling, braiding, nail art, makeup, color theory, beauty design, hygiene and sanitation, professionalism, entrepreneurship, and portfolio projects. Instructors adapt activities to student age and experience, available materials, program objectives, and site requirements, while maintaining safe, respectful, inclusive, and age-appropriate practices. These are independent contractor opportunities, not employee positions. Each assignment is considered separately, and contractors may apply for, accept, decline, or disregard opportunities. Assignment availability, schedule, duration, location, scope, and compensation vary; no minimum amount of work or future opportunities is guaranteed. Compensation is set separately for each assignment. Many opportunities start at $50 or more per completed instructional hour with students, with rates varying based on assignment scope, experience, location, schedule, and program needs. Applicants may propose a desired rate. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, compensation is based on completed instructional hours, and payment is generally made by direct deposit on the fifteenth day of the following month. Schools or Concorde Education may provide curriculum resources, lesson suggestions, project ideas, classroom materials, mannequin heads, practice supplies, presentation materials, or other instructional resources. Contractors may use professional judgment to adapt activities within the agreed assignment scope and may use their own appropriate resources. Purchases for which reimbursement is requested require written approval in advance. Selected applicants may be asked to complete onboarding and assignment-specific requirements, which may include background-check procedures, site clearances, fingerprinting, identification, or other legally required compliance steps. Concorde Education follows applicable Fair Chance requirements and is committed to respectful, inclusive, student-centered programming and equal opportunity.
