Concorde Education partners with schools and community organizations to provide enrichment programs introducing K–12 students to new skills, interests, and potential career pathways. The organization is seeking independent professionals with cosmetology, beauty, hairstyling, makeup, nail technology, barbering, esthetics, fashion, or related experience for instructional assignments at partner schools and community locations. Programs may serve elementary, middle, or high school students, depending on the partnership. Assignments vary in location, schedule, duration, scope, and compensation. They typically involve 1–4 instructional hours per week, primarily after school, and many programs run approximately 8–10 weeks. Start dates are rolling and depend on partner schedules. These opportunities are for independent contractor services, not employee positions. Contractors may choose which opportunities to pursue and may accept or decline assignments; no minimum number of assignments, instructional hours, or future opportunities is guaranteed. Depending on the assignment, instructors facilitate age-appropriate sessions, demonstrate beauty techniques, create hands-on activities, and introduce students to related careers. Curriculum, projects, materials, and objectives vary. Schools or Concorde Education may provide instructional resources, and contractors may adapt activities within the agreed assignment scope and applicable site requirements. Any purchases for which reimbursement is requested require prior written approval. Compensation is set separately for each assignment. Many opportunities start at $50 or more per completed instructional hour with students, with the rate depending on factors such as assignment scope, experience, location, schedule, and program needs. Applicants may propose a rate. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is based on completed instructional service hours and is generally made by direct deposit on the fifteenth day of the month following the month services were completed. Applicants selected for further consideration may be asked to complete contractor onboarding and assignment-specific requirements. Before services begin, assignments may require background-check procedures, site clearances, fingerprinting, documentation, identification, or other legally required compliance steps. Concorde Education provides fair-chance consideration under applicable laws and is committed to respectful, inclusive, student-centered programming.
