Concorde Education partners with schools and community organizations to provide enrichment programs introducing students to new skills, interests, and career pathways. The organization is seeking professionals with experience in cosmetology, beauty, hairstyling, makeup, nail technology, barbering, esthetics, fashion, or related fields to provide instructional services for K–12 programs. Students may be in elementary, middle, or high school, depending on the assignment. These are independent-contractor opportunities, not employee positions. Assignments are offered separately and may vary in schedule, duration, location, scope, and compensation. Contractors may apply for opportunities that interest them and accept or decline any assignment; no minimum number of assignments, hours, or future opportunities is guaranteed. Many assignments run approximately 8–10 weeks, with typically 1–4 instructional hours per week, primarily after school. Work is in person at partner schools or community locations, depending on the assignment. Instruction may include age-appropriate demonstrations and activities in hairstyling, braiding, nail care and design, makeup, color theory, beauty design, hygiene and sanitation, professionalism, customer service, entrepreneurship, or related areas. Curriculum, projects, materials, and objectives vary by assignment. Schools or Concorde Education may provide resources, and instructors may adapt activities within the agreed assignment scope and site requirements. Instructors may also use their own appropriate resources. Purchases seeking reimbursement require written approval in advance. Compensation is set separately for each assignment. Many opportunities start at $50 or more per completed instructional hour, with rates depending on the assignment, qualifications, location, schedule, and program needs. Applicants may propose a rate. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is based on completed instructional hours with students and is generally made by direct deposit on the fifteenth of the month following service completion. Selected applicants may be invited to complete contractor onboarding and assignment-specific requirements, which may include background checks, clearances, fingerprinting, documentation, or identification requirements. Concorde Education considers qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable Fair Chance laws and is committed to equal opportunity and inclusive, student-centered programming.
