Concorde Education partners with schools and community organizations to provide enrichment programs introducing students to new skills, interests, and potential career pathways. The organization is seeking professionals with cosmetology, beauty, hairstyling, makeup, nail technology, barbering, esthetics, fashion, or related experience to provide instructional services for K–12 enrichment programs. Students may be elementary, middle, or high school students, depending on the school partnership and assignment. These opportunities are for independent contractor instructional services, not employee positions. This posting identifies professionals who may be considered for future assignments. Contractors may pursue, accept, decline, or disregard assignments, and no minimum number of assignments, instructional hours, or future opportunities is guaranteed. Assignments vary by location, schedule, duration, scope, compensation, curriculum, materials, and program objectives. Assignments may include facilitating age-appropriate enrichment sessions, introducing cosmetology techniques and career pathways, demonstrating relevant skills, developing hands-on activities, and fostering creativity, confidence, professionalism, and positive self-expression. Instructors adapt activities to available resources and site requirements, maintain safe and inclusive practices, communicate significant assignment-related concerns, and complete a brief session-completion form after scheduled sessions. Instruction is in person at partner schools and community locations. Schedules are typically 1–4 instructional hours per week, primarily after school, and many programs last approximately 8–10 weeks. Start dates are rolling and depend on partner schedules. Compensation is established separately for each assignment; many opportunities start at $50 or more per completed instructional hour, with rates varying according to assignment scope, qualifications, location, schedule, and program needs. The posting also lists a salary range of $50–$100 per hour. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, compensation is based on completed instructional hours with students and is generally paid by direct deposit on the fifteenth day of the following month. Schools or Concorde Education may provide curriculum resources, lesson suggestions, project ideas, classroom materials, mannequin heads, practice supplies, presentation materials, or other instructional resources. Contractors may adapt activities within the assignment scope and use appropriate personal resources when safe, lawful, age-appropriate, and consistent with site requirements. Expenses submitted for reimbursement require written approval in advance. Selected applicants may need to complete onboarding and assignment-specific requirements, such as background checks, site clearances, fingerprinting, and documentation.
