About The Position

The Cosmetics Counter Manager at Bloomingdale’s leads and supervises a team of Beauty Advisors to provide excellent service and sell the full assortment both in store and online. The role focuses on building and maintaining client relationships, providing outstanding service and product knowledge, and maintaining compelling merchandise presentation. The manager ensures Beauty Advisors are welcoming, friendly, and engaged, while keeping productivity high and putting customers first. The position also involves creating an easy, seamless, and enjoyable in-store experience, driving sales with in-store and online clients through effective use of technology, and participating in merchandising and operational requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including day, evening, weekend, and/or holiday hours.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including prolonged standing and walking, and frequent use of computers and other technology.

• Drive sales with in-store and online clients by embracing and being proficient with technology.
• Participate in merchandising and operational requirements.
