About The Position

The Cosmetic Merchandiser performs project-based merchandising work for various cosmetic brands at retail locations throughout a designated area. The role focuses on making cosmetic products, graphics, and displays visually appealing and aligned with planograms, while maintaining appropriate product availability and pricing. Work may involve travel between multiple locations and assignments vary from 0 to 40 hours per week depending on project volume, travel willingness, and acceptance of other available projects. The employer hires nationwide; its corporate office is in Tampa, Florida.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have reliable transportation to travel 30 to 60 miles to multiple locations in the designated area; travel distance may be greater in some markets.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and the Channel Partners management team.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to read diagrams or instructions, process instructions, and use hand tools as necessary.

Responsibilities

Implement planograms, resets, display setups, product cut-ins, and audits for cosmetic brands.
Clean and stock shelves, retag merchandise, and rotate products.
Help ensure store appearance and merchandise displays align with planograms.
Report daily hours worked accurately through an online portal accessible by smartphone, computer, or tablet.
Photograph completed assignments and report them to the District Manager.
Build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime retail business hours.
Adapt to changing work schedules; occasional evening or weekend work is encouraged.
