Cosmetic Merchandiser
About The Position
As a cosmetic merchandiser, you’ll complete project-based work to ensure cosmetic products, graphics, and displays are visually appealing and engage shoppers. You’ll build relationships with store managers and help ensure cosmetics are available in the right quantities and at the right price. The corporate office is in Tampa, Florida, and hiring is taking place nationwide. Assignments may range from 0 to 40 hours per week depending on project volume, travel distance, and willingness to accept other available projects. Work is performed during daytime retail business hours, with occasional evening or weekend work encouraged. The role is paid $17.00–$18.00 per hour. The employer offers paid mileage and travel pay where applicable, per diem and hotel for travelers, limited benefit plans for everyday illnesses and accidents, weekly pay, and early wage access. Employment is W2.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel 30 to 60 miles to multiple locations in the designated area; some markets may require longer travel.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and the Channel Partners management team.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read diagrams or instructions, process instructions, and use hand tools as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Implement planograms, resets, display setups, product cut-ins, and audits for various cosmetic brands.
- Clean and stock shelves, retag merchandise, and rotate products.
- Help ensure store appearance and merchandise displays align with planograms.
- Report daily hours worked through an online portal accessible by smartphone, computer, or tablet.
- Photograph completed assignments and report them to the District Manager.
- Partner with and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime retail business hours.
- Adapt to changing work schedules and consider occasional evening or weekend assignments.
